Olivier Giroud will wear the Rossoneri in the No. 9 jersey for the 2021/22 season. To this end, the Blues ended his record of 39 goals scored in 119 games in all competitions since joining from Arsenal in January 2018.
“To the Blues, all my friends. The team, all the coaches and this club I thank you very much for these special moments,” the 34-year-old tweeted farewell to the Blue Lions on July 16.
“I am starting a new journey with a bright and happy heart. Our wins in the FA Cup, Europa League, ufabet and UEFA Champions League have been fantastic, always loving Oli G.”
Giroud became the Red Devils’ fourth new player. Black in the transfer market this summer, following Fikayo Tomori, Mike Meignon and Sandro Tonali.
